Terms of sales

ARTICLE 1 – RESERVATIONS

Reservations will be requested as early in advance as possible before the visit.

The reservation is made by completing the form on the I book my visit page of the Guides 1815 website.

Validation of the basket by the customer implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale.

Request for a guided visit will be confirmed by email to the customer.

ARTICLE 2 – RATES

The prices of our guided visits are available on the Guides 1815 website. 

The cost of any access to the various sites visited is not included in the price of the guided visit. The customer must pay this directly to the site visited, at the latest on the day of the visit. Guides 1815 are not involved in this transaction. 

ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT TERMS

Payment must be made in advance of the visit unless agreed upon by the coordinating manager and confirmed by email.

The payment request for a guide will be sent to the customer via an email that includes the reservation data and a link to the payment site. 

All payments are made through the secure “Ingenico” platform. 

An invoice can be sent to the customer if requested during reservation. 

ARTICLE 4 – DELAY

In the event of an expected delay upon arrival at the meeting point, the customer is required to call as quickly as possible the designated guide whose name and phone number are included on the confirmation. 

Any delay will reduce the effective duration of the guided portion of the visit accordingly. 

Any unannounced delay of more than 30 minutes will be considered as a cancellation by the customer less than 3 hours before the visit. The guide may leave the meeting place. 

ARTICLE 5 - CANCELLATION

Any cancellation by the customer must be reported by email sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. mentioning “CANCELLATION” followed by the order number on the subject line. 

Refund in the event of cancellation by the customer:

• Guided visit cancelled 3 or more working days before the requested date for the visit will be fully refunded, with a deduction of 10€ for administrative costs.
• Guided visit cancelled less than 3 working days but more than 3 hours before the date and time requested for the visit will be refunded at 50%.
• Guided visit cancelled less than 3 hours before the visit will not be refunded.

In the event of cancellation by Guides 1815, the amounts paid will be fully refunded.
